Privacy,plainly.
Short version: this site collects nothing about you. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no account. Here's the detail.
What I collect
Nothing. Connor.OS is a static personal site with no backend database, no user accounts, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. I do not set cookies and I do not use local storage to profile you.
The contact form
The form on the contact page does not send your message to any server. When you submit it, your own device composes an email (a mailto: link) and opens it in your mail app, with the text you typed pre-filled. Nothing you type is stored or transmitted by this site, the email goes directly from you to me, through your email provider, only if you choose to send it.
Fonts and assets
Fonts are self-hosted and served from this site, not fetched from Google or any other third party, so visiting these pages does not share your IP address with an outside font service.
Data from elsewhere
The site shows my public GitHub repositories. That data is fetched on the server from GitHub’s public API and rendered into the page, so your browser never contacts GitHub on this site’s behalf, and no information about you is sent to GitHub. If you follow a link out to GitHub, LinkedIn, or my résumé, the privacy practices of those destinations apply once you leave.
Your rights
Because no personal data is collected or stored here, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete. Rights such as those under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA still apply in principle, so if you have any question about your data, email connor.siu@sjsu.edu and I’ll respond directly.
Changes
If this site ever starts collecting data, this page will be updated before that happens, and this notice will say what changed.
